Pilot Grove, Missouri
The population charts you posted are for a newer planter with a dual range transmission. For your 7000 with the extended distance sprocket, 22 driver and 22 driven shows 18,400 pop for corn meter on 36 inch rows. Multiply 18,400 by 4.67 (Ratio of 56 cell bean meter to 12 finger corn meter) gives 85,928. Now multiply 85,928 by .60 (the factor for the extended distance sprocket) gives 51,556.8. multiply this by 2, since you're doubling back for 18 inch rows and you have 103,113.6 pop. Doing the same for 22 driver and 28 driven sprockets (17,100 pop in 36 in rows) ends up with 95,828. Patrick
