sri - 5/9/2020 22:28 https://www.agweek.com/business/agriculture/4621665-corn-soybean-pla... unless I read this wrong.81 percent of corn was planted by June 2.. so that leaves 19percent , I think more than 25000 ,to plant in June.. Just send the check to your local fire department

Wouldn't that have likely been 81% of intended corn acres were planted by June 2?     Leaving 19% that either got planted to corn yet or planted to something else or not planted at all

Something else or not at all probably got the lions share of that 19%

Exactly INTENDED acre's not all acres got planted a very large portions of those acres were PP corn and not planted at all.

I intended on planting over 1000 acres of corn in 2020 even purchased seed and fertilizer for the above acres but due to extreme wet spring, still need to harvest some 2019 corn and ground that I WAS going to plant to corn is 1/2 under water I won't get all acres planted will maybe be 50% planted on June 1st of intended acres but will be done planting corn so a big difference between what I intended to plant and what will actually get planted.
