Jimsonweed, Thank you for the information. Do you know of anyway to keep the Nitrates down in those forages? I raised some Sorghum Sudan last summer on some very small patches and the Nitrates were a little high at 6,000 Parts Per Million. I didn't even fertilize it. We also had fairly good moisture right before we swathed it. I also wondered what you guys thought about Crabgrass? I know its very Palatable.
