S Illinois | Well Dec 2020 corn spent most of its contract life up until July last summer above $4.00 with spirts into that 4.15-4.20 range. Not sure how poor your basis is but that would have been awfully close to $4.00 cash out of the fields. A couple rolls with hedged bushels in 2021 would get you up into that $4.50 board range.
Or is it possible you got your bullish to the moon, USDA lying, farmers know much more than the market cap on and missed on those opportunities? | |
