| Jim, you would have to agree that many more planters have been destroyed by liquid fertilizer than ever have or will be damaged by dry fertilizer dust???? We have pulled dry fertilizer carts behind our planters for 6 years, and I have yet to see any signs of damage caused by fertilizer. A properly sized cart and well thought out tender system shouldn't noticeably slow the planting process at all, 1 maybe too stops a day to fill. Who knows the right day to plant anyway, this year our later planted corn will be our best. I'm a little hesitant to get too much planting capacity for this very reason, I need something to hold me back from trying to plant everything in the first 5 days.
