Subject: Re: Avail Phospherous enhancer

New Waverly, IN
Do I understand that Avail sort of encapsulates the P so that it is not bound up in the soil, thus making it more available to the plant? How does this work? If used with 10-34-0 would it also tend to encapsulate the N? I was wondering if it have any activity in this way to sort of safen the N, making it friendlier as an in-row starter source and allowing one to use 10-34-0 vs higher priced low salt solutions. I would also like to know more about the moisture results. I would have thought that the avail strips would have matured quicker and dried down faster. This is a product that I am looking at to see if I might be able to make it fit here. Thanks for any information.
