Subject: RE: Aphids in KS

Populations of aphids double every 2-3 days. They don't like 90 degrees in the canopy of the soybeans. Temps near 100. R6 populations for economic injury need to be at 650 or more per plant. Soybean aphids are being studied to determined whether or not they are a vector for carrying charcoal root rot in soybean.
