How heavy of a dry bale will a 4x5 vermeer baler make. I under stand it depends on moisture and crop but in typical grass hay at 18% moisture?? I sold my baler this winter thinking I would buy a new vermeer 604 (4x6) but they can’t get me one til fall. This 504r premium is on the lot and wonder if will make a heavy enough bale. Any experience?
Seems like they are going to a new model so if you want the new one you will have to wait.
Found a dealer 70 miles north of me where he sold a guy 2 in December and that guy may only want 1 - - - - dunno about freight though. (850 miles from Unionville MO to location so dropped on a gooseneck behind a decent 3/4 ton and away you go - - - gas is cheap in your country - - - - grin - - - - so getting depends upon the wanting.)
Tried called head office - - - - somehow they've forgotten how to use a telephone - - - - - not possible to find a live person anymore unless you know an extension number.
(Seems like the bigger the company gets the more their collective sense drains out!!!!) |
