Subject: Pequea MCR12 wheel rake opinions

Blue Grass (Eastern IA)

Iv'e been looking for a new wheel rake for a while and based on my online research the Pequea MCR looks the like the best.  Well built and very adjustable. I like the electric option for single side raking because I do a lot of narrow waterways.  But I don't have a dealer near me to go see one.  Neighbor has a 5 year old Kuhn 110 speedrake that works good, but the lift / pivot frame is breaking up and it doesn't have individual wheel suspension.  Another neighbor bought a new Ogden hay runner last year.  That was my first choice until I heard he flipped it over a few times.  They are top heavy, and don't raise evenly if on a hillside, of which I have many. I cut with a 12' mower, Alfalfa, Brome and some reed canary grass in waterways.  I have a Vermeer WR24 now that plugs in heavy first cutting.

Is there anyone who has used the Pequea MCR and can offer the advantages and disadvantages?

Thanks
