| no hippie commune but the the wading pools, the greenhouse, the mural on the barn... have probably convinced some of the neighbors that Lisa and I will soon be opening a commune.
We painted the mural to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I sketched out the plants and their root systems in magic marker based on original botanical drawings (for example: http://www.soilandhealth.org/01aglibrary/010139fieldcroproots/01013...)
Then about 20 people showed up over the course of a day and helped us paint... a very communal activity :->
