Beets pay way better than corn does, at least in our operation. I think most guys are finally realizing that. Our coop has payed their debt down enough to pay us better. I have never seen an overrun in our area. I have heard rumor that in some other companys there has been mandatory percentages of crop that the producer has to destroy in years past.
