It made a Crop
I have one of the gardenway (I think) planter. I use it for beans. But it does not do a very good job drop corn. It will drop anywhere for 0-4 seeds at a time. And I end up going back a thnning out the corn.

So, for a few rows in a small garden. I'd just plant it by hand. There are good hand planters availible but they are pricy. The hand unit Tim mention will work too, if you can controll seed drop. Of choice spacing is really only important it your try to control ear size for Market Sells.

Last year. I was in a hurry to batch our freezer patch 12 - 100' rows. So I use small planter. I used about 3 times the seed as if I had planted by hand. I had go back a thin it so it did save time in the end.
