| Planted 40 acres of corn yesterday and another 40 today. Wanted them to get the 70's Tues. and Wed., before the chill down, but highs still mostly 50's after Tues. and Wed.. Projecting (hoping) corn to emerge about 4-24. Fairly dry 14 forecast other than 80% chance of rain Wednesday when it's in the 70's.
Tomorrow planning on switching to drilling beans. Have gone early with beans many times with decent results. Probably don't have enough hesitation with doing so. Good planting conditions btw. | |
