Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | I agree with Keith. The xtra tenders are much better corn than average. Whatever you do, plant a variety that is an SH2. The SE corns will get chewy and starchy fast. 378 is a very good white corn. 78 day. 278 is the bi-color version. Bandit is a good yellow. We grow about 450 acres of the xtra tender varieties. They stay sweet in the fridge longer too. |
