On ravens and microtraks you set a minimum flow rate in gallons per minute so when you turn boom on you have enough pressure to have a good pattern. You might be over applying for a few feet until you get up to speed. As you pick up speed the rate controller will call for higher flow rate than the minimum you set and will adjust accordingly. Your minimum flow rate makes sure you can maintain a pattern when slowing down or turning booms on. | |
