They make different angle spray tips depending if you have 15-20” spacing. You want the tighter angle tips for 15” spacing. Depending on what your spraying 40psi is usually a good place to be at the lower end of your average speed. You probably have 15psi check valves in your boom, when you get close to that psi you get issues like you experience.
