Is anyone noticing this?? I was scouting one of my fields and it has a serious problem. The ears look like nubbins or beer cans. 16 to 18 rows of kernals but only about 22-24 kernals per row. the plant looks healthy, the fertility was a little low but should have been adequate. PH was around 6. There is a little gray leaf spot in it about 10% on the leafs. back in early July right at pre-tassle it was getting very cool in the evenings around mid 50's at night. from my calculations I think this field will only make about 130bu/acre. Anyone else notice this while scouting??

What number is this? I wouldn't mind scouting mine if I have some of the same number. Thanks!
