WC SK | After the 3.75" of rain we had over the week end, I've noticed my yellow pea's pods are splitting!
I think all of the moisture caused the pea seeds to swell and break the pods. It seemed to happen in the pods that were yellow and starting to dry out, but still had moist green peas in them.
Has this happened to anyone else. Do you think the peas are going to stay in the pod? I kind of think once they get brittle the peas will just fall out. Looks like it happened to about 20% of the pods.
Kind of sucks as it was the only decent looking crop I had. Still 2 weeks from combining.
