Panhandle of Ne. | As for the price of rup, a dealer I spoke with the other day said that currently the companies are trying to sell the supply they currently have to not have to carry it over until next year. True or not, I can't say. What it will be next spring is anybodies guess. What I try to do is lock in a price on fuel, fert., chem. that I can live with. Hitting the lowest price only happens when you are trying to lock in a price for grains lol. But, at $10-12 per gallon that equates to $3 or less per acre, that is a price I can live with. We have stored rup overwinter with no problems. Have even found some 2 1/2's that were in back of shop that had been there several years and still worked good. | |
