Morgan will tell you the Crustbuster uses a smooth tube and does not suffer from spacing issues. I am trying to remember who else does.........

Von and I had a long discussion on the 750 style JDs. Given the drop angle on them, they have serious issues with spacing. We discarded the twin 750s and went back to GP 30 ft. Spacing better and the ability to control shaft speed helps.

Anyhow, I can drill at 100K if I wish. We also have a 15" Deere. I like the Deere in DC behind wheat as I can plant much deeper than with the drill. So the question is which is best. In straight notil I like the drill. In DC with heavy trash I like the planter. Guess that is why we have both. Middle of the road, if you will.........
