Subject: Drill vs planter.

It never was a population problem. It is a spacing problem. You can set a drill to whatever population per acre you wish. It is the spacing problem of corrugated hoses that makes people set the population high to hide the spacing problems within the row. You don't see planters with corrugated seed tubes. I don't why anyone ever installed them on drills. There are a few other issues with drills. But, all in all, the seed tube is the biggest problem.
