Definitely bury in conduit and Use the underground electric fence wire. They do make it in 300 Foot rolls because you really don't want it spliced in the pipe. Don't put 90 degree elbows on your turns use the curved 90's if you need them. But I would use 3/4 to 1" pvc. It will be easier to pull a new wire later when the first one goes bad.
