Subject: SPM

Is SPM a good choice to gain efficiency and K uptake in corn ? I had leaf analysis done and showed slight to moderate K deficiency two years ago and used SPM this year in the strip below the seed, did not get leaf analysis done this summer to see if it helped ( patient consultant mis que). I had been applying 90 to 120# of actual K Bcast ahead of spring strip till. Soil test levels Med to Low K on silt loam 8 to 12 CEC soils. Also have noticed substantially higher K levels in the top 2 inches since I have been stip till / notilling and growing alfalfa. Did notice better stalks this year.
Thanks for any input
