The stimulus bill included four months of enhanced unemployment, including making "gig workers" eligible. I know very little about how unemployment works, but the articles said up to $600/week. I would think that $400-500/week would go along ways for a lot of people.
If this goes longer than three months, I'd expect extensions to be passed.
