| Down here in South Texas I am seeing/hearing that everyone is planting all or more corn than ever. Lots of guys who plant cotton and Milo are planting all corn. I know we don't produce much down here but I would think it all adds up.
I also wouldn't be surprised if oil markets don't get sorted out by August. $20 oil my be nice for the general publics gas prices but if it is allowed to put US oil "out of business" that is just as bad as relying on china for everything. We need to be more energy independent now than ever and I hope the powers to be understand this as I am sure they do.
I wouldn't expect any change in our military pressure/presents in the middle East for 60 day though. Becuase I just saw where there is a 60 day military travel ban. I would think if the fleet removed itself from the strait of Hormuz and we quit protecting the suadis and others over there $100 oil could be reality faster than you would think.
Besides why do we front the bill to protect these people?
