North Central Illinois | Your wife’s lack of ppe has no correlation to the availability of testing. The fact that your wife is going without ppe is a symptom of how complacent and ignorant we have become when it comes to the threat of a situation like this. This doesn’t fall on the head of the president or congress. It falls back to individual hospitals and healthcare providers that they were not more prepared for the eventuality of something like this. Hospitals could have easily afforded to stockpiled ppe equipment but chose not to. You can’t lay this on Washington. The testing thing has everyone getting their panties in a wad. Conservatives don’t want testing because they know it will inflate infected numbers which they perceive as a threat to Donnie. Liberals want everyone tested so things look as dire as possible and they can freak out and claim the world is coming to an end and Trump is to blame. Then you have the tinfoilers who somehow in their demented minds believe that the Chinese cooked this virus up in a lab, infected a sector of their population, but vaccinated another sector of their population with a nonexistent vaccine, and then also infected numerous other countries including the US, all as a plot to destroy America. Good grief! What the hell is the matter with everyone?!!! | |
