Cedar Rapids, Iowa | That combo should work. The Samsung Galaxy series is extremely popular and I think they all have Bluetooth SPP. I looked at the app statistics and this app is installed on north of 200 devices that are Samsung Galaxy S7 variants. I haven't heard anyone else mention issues with that specific model either.
Connect from both directions? What kind of a Bluetooth device do you have that lets you initiate a connection? In this case, the app needs to open the Bluetooth connection.
