I think the consensus on here is to use a chisel plow and put all the shanks on the back bar, use it as a dump rake. Maybe try a field cultivator if the stuff is real small.

otherwise, the only place besides australia that I have seen those style of rakes is in the canadian provinces. that's a ways from texas though.
