10.2 trillion, and that is just the individual tax payers. Factor in what corporation made at the same time and the number probably doubles. Then factor in the money being lost in the stock market, and the number now ripples to 30 trillion.
Using the multiplyer effect, for everyday of shutdown, it takes 10 days of commerce to make it up.
