Subject: RE: In search of root and rock rake

South Texas
I’ve never seen one around. I did find something old and similar for sale one time a few years ago. We use pull rakes. Root plow first, then 3 passes with the root rake, then rome plow, then field disc. Don’t run a shank again for about 10 years, just disc the field. The disc will push the stumps down, a chisel plow or cultivator will pull stumps and sticks on to the surface.

A ranch my brother has been working for, after he rome plows it they run a harrowgator and it drags sticks around and drops them when lifted, so they windrow those and push them up with a skid loader.
