It's not a super bad job.

Make sure it's at a half tank or less of fuel. There is a valve and plug just to the left of the drawbar and forward of it's hanger you can drain fuel from underneath if needed.

All you will probably need is the hose, it's north of $200.

Remove the side panels like you have done already.

Remove the small forward panel under the left hand fender fuel tank.

Remove the bolts holding the left side of the cab on. You don't need to do anything to the right side mounts.

Jack up the cab carefully (or if you are up town like our Challenger tech, lift from the top with a crane). Watch the length of the vent line for the main tank at the left top rear of the main chassis tank near the upper 3 point rockshaft. I jacked up mine maybe 3 or 4 inches, enough to reach underneath and get to things.

The connection piece (tube) (the green in the drawing I posted yesterday) can be removed, it helps with installation. It has two clamps and a short connecting rubber under the left tank. The other end under the cab has 2 clamps indexed at different angles. It's also attached to the under frame with two bolts. That is also clamped to it's mount with 4 smaller bolts and a strap. I removed all of this. The bellows part for ours came out in 3 pieces. It was disintegrated.

I then was able to easily reach in under the cab and remove the other two clamps on the main tank and remove what was left of the bellows tube.

Reassembly started with putting the new tube on the transfer tube first, then I was able to maneuver the bellows tube and transfer tube as one unit onto the main frame tank. I tried to install the bellows tube without removing the transfer tube, but the new tube is not very flexible and it was impossible to get into place any other way. I then wiggled the transfer tube back into place and it's mounting bracket back into place as I let the cab down little by little. Re adjusting as I went. After it was all the way down I used an air ratchet and an extension or two to do the final tightening of the bellows tube clamps, once everything was re aligned the way it's supposed to be.

I finished by tightening up the transfer tube mount and the clamps for it's hose under the left fender.

Easy.

If you have more questions, email me and I'll send you my phone number, but it's not a bad job at all to do.
