Thanks for the tip on the 8310 "European" step. Looks like good thick rubber that would still provide a solid step but allow for some give if need be.

It's a shame for as much as new machines cost that they cannot come up with better steps and ladders straight from the factory. (staircase style ladders on newer combines) It's always high dollar extras for practical safety items.
