| There are at least 2 to as many as 4 fuel tanks depending on the setup. One on the left fender that has the fill. There is at least one possibly 2 tanks under the cab and then auxiliaries outside the right side of the frame.
What I am talking about is the connection between the left tank and the main tank under the cab. There is a transition 'tube' that connects via a rubber coupler to the left fender tank. This is short an looks like a 4" long radiator hose. Access to that is above the metal plate under the left fender. The transition 'tube' holds about a gallon or so and is mostly behind the left rear panels up high. It is rectangular and the openings on it are at right angles to the 'tube'. In the attached picture, it's the green area. This is made of plastic.
From here there is a transition rubber tube that has large ripples built into it. In the picture, its the part that is circled red. Fuel sits inside the ripples and rots the tube.
It started out as a slow leak for a few years, then got fast when it failed worse.
If you remove the left two panels that access the hydraulic filters and look on a 45 degree angle towards the right rear up near the track frame bar, you can see it pretty well with a flashlight.
