I don’t have any pictures but, at my previous job we had a liquid tender truck that the bottom step was hard for some of the older guys to get their leg up on. I made a bottom step using some hardened machine chain. (Little chain like you would see at Tractor Supply Co.) It was fairly rigid but when the truck came to a place the step did drag I watched it move the chain and once the truck was over that hump the step was fine. Basically the same idea as the rubber set up just a little different way of doing it. | |
