SW Ohio | Got any old truckers Hub-O-meters around? I have used them where none existed, just need to mount on a shaft somewhere and calibrate the miles = acres computation. the one on my spin spreader is about 1.965 miles per acre. they used to be found easily on old fleet trucks and even some trailers, they seldom go bad.
edit, another trick is to use a bale counter off a small square baler or other source and fit a cam or knocker to hit it with each revolution of a shaft, more math needed to convert to acres, had one on the old 7000 planter.
