| All of what everyone else said and I have a few things to add:
Ours had the pigtail for the heater valve for the DEF tank made too short and it would pull the terminal apart causing an error and derate the engine. It's $20 of parts for the new connector, and the last time I added a 6" pigtail myself to the harness to alleviate this problem.
When it was well within warranty, we had ALL of the idlers replaced because of the delaminating issue for free.
We have had problems with the alternator bearings, AGCO wants CRAZY money for the alternators. We had them rebuilt once with Chinese junk, the bearings only lasted a few years. (the pulleys are small and they turn fast) This winter I found a brand of Japanese bearings that I hope will last longer.
We have had to replace the bearing in the alternator belt idler a few times, same issue. The last time, I believe I was able to get a USA made Timken.
Last spring I had trouble with eating water pump belts. The idler for the water pump had worn out, the entire tensioning unit, north of $200, but easily able to be put on myself. That solves the belt eating issue.
I had an issue where it would blow the frame rail fuse from the alternators. That was fixed by a new diode along the frame rail, thanks to NAT advise.
Reaction arm oil gets changed once a year, and we haven't had trouble.
We had one sensor in the muffler go bad under warranty, as well as had the dosing chamber relaced under warranty because the hold down strap failed.
If possible pull the left shields and look in to see the feed tube between the upper left fender tank and the main center top tank under the cab. There is a $200+ bellows looking tube that is prone to failure, it will cause massive fuel leaks above 3/4 tank when it's bad.
It had one Husco controller for the remote go bad this spring, and one of the coils it controls leaked oil into it and shorting out the controller, ruining it. $488 for a new valve and $700+ for the controller, not including a fee for the tech to reprogram the new Husco controller to the tractor.
Last spring I had a few cartridges for the remotes go bad, but they're easy to replace.
It's computer controlled, it can be expensive for simple things to get fixed.
It sounds like we have had a lot of trouble, but compared to other tractors we have, it's about the same amount of breakdowns, and a lot of these we can fix ourselves. Just not all of them.
