Sounds like you are on the right track with your cabling. How is your planter currently setup? Sounds like right now the only thing you are running is row monitoring. If this is the case your current wiring harness would plug into the seed monitoring module adapter cable. That would take care of the seed monitoring but still leaves the row shutoff. The row shut-offs would need their own module (section control module) plus the wiring adapter to go to the row clutches themselves. One module will do 12 section. So if you used one module for 24 rows 2 rows would be pair together to make one section.

Trucount air clutches use a valve box to direct air to rows that need to be shut off. There is a wiring adapter that goes from the section control module to the valve box. The plastic airline is then ran to individual rows.

An electric row clutch can also be used assuming that the current draw doesn't exceed the limit for each section of the section control module. You would need a harness to go from the section control module to each individual row-unit to provide the on-off signal for the row clutch. I don't know what is offered from Trimble for a harness like this but ag express is also an option. You can pair any row clutch with the section control module as long as you don't exceed the current draw limit.

Fmx won't need any unlocks for what you are wanting to do.
