USA | The $600 is on the 20 acres of refuge that is not ptotected from CB. In 06 there was as much as 40 bu difference between bt and NGMO hybrids because of CB in this area. This was the worst I have ever seen. We ran Regent on our NGMO corn for CB control and it was as good as the Bt corn. I don't see how you can figure a yield loss on the NGMO corn when 100% of the acres has something on it for CB control. If person were to run Regent on the refuge acres and didn't have a loss from CB you would be ahead $360 after deducting the cost of the Regent. | |
