with striptill your old rows are there to guide you.  you will never pull the planter into the endrows witht the old rows still standing.

The little ends rows I had I planted last because I thought it would be better with the turning on the ends with a tracked tractor.  no digging up seed in the turns.

With strip till you can start anywhere and end up perfect if you are matched up to your striper.  Just pull out couple feet early or put in couple feet late on the ends.  Course GPS is realy nice doing that. but can be done without.
