I'm not sure. I'd go along with Pin 2 for certain. Since PWM gives short shots of 12V followed by 0 volts, the other wire is typically ground. Possibly Pin 5 is really ground for the PWM and is labelled as close. I guess that is reasonable since the spinner speed can only utilize a PWM valve. The labels somewhat suggest that a servo type could be used.
