west central ohio | I had a JD 160G trackhoe that kept having a FAULT . The code came up a sensor circuit 5 short high/low. Jd dealer would not tell me what sensors were on circuit 5. Tells me they need to come out to check it out. Texa helped me alot, but DEERE knowing people will use aftermarket scan tools , keep the game a guess by not telling you what is on circuit 5, and also by making it different on every machine, so nobody posts a code list on line. I check the wiring diagram that was in the OH manual, but it was so vague, it was zero help. They are kicking and screaming to keep all the service work to their techs. I did find that the fan speed sensor was the problem, but only by watching live data.
