Subject: RE: Superb sd375v grain dryer

Holland, Indiana (SW IN)
I can help a little --have a couple SuperB dryers--a 20' and a 32' --We run both full heat and cool in bin
I am including a pic of a SD500VQ --control panel -I know the Q behind the V stands for quiet
The SD500VQ (think its a 1997 model--bought it new) we have can be run full heat continual flow --how we have always run it--It can also run batch with cool in the dryer--never tried that
Mostly the only trouble we have had is the clocks and the thermocouple for the gas --both are reasonable to fix and easy to diagnose

I would no way buy a quantum controller --we run the Barber Colman --grain temp automatic controller on the 20' --STILL works great
If you are not drying a lot of grain (which is probably the case if you are buying a 16' dryer) automatic controllers IMO are not needed
Only takes a little time to set up a chart as to moisture in--settings and moisture out
