Medford, OK | That’s my fear now is lodging but who knows. Tiller count went from as low as 4 to 12 tillers. Ones in the pictures are the average I was finding. Last year I had 4-5 tillers and averaged 54bu/acre on that farm (was monument variety). Hoping to top that this year.
I do have some Bentley planted this year but thinking this will be the last year for that on my farms. Who knows though, it might surprise me at harvest. Thanks for the input.
