SW Ohio | And he forgot to mention the rear top half of back wall was removable for hot weather. they stayed in these until 8 or 9 weeks old then went into group housing, groups of two then four then whatever, about a week per group. When the snow got to be more than was shown in the pics or extreme cold, straw bales were stacked in front. When empty they were tipped up on their back to be cleaned and dry out and get sunlight. Maybe once a year they were rotated to new ground. I could stoop down inside and lift them with my shoulders and carry to new spot easily ( I was younger and dumber then!!)
Edit to add......Very important---if using the collar and chain it is imperative to use a swivel in the chain on both ends.
