This isn't a popular fix in some circles, but the very best way to control nutcedge (and quackgrass) is to tile. I really have never found a sure fire way to control it with any chems on wet ground. Obviously (beside the inital cost of tile) the best reason not to tile is if the problem is on rented ground and you and the landlord can't come to an agreement on how to pay for it. Solution # 2 is Dual, followed by 2 shots of Basagran with oil post. And then no-till it. Only thing worse than dragging quackgrass around with iron is dragging nutsedge around with iron.

Quack and nutsedge, as well as Canadian Thistle (and thanks for that, by the way! LOL) were our most aggravating problem for years. I don't know if I could show you any quack or nutsedge today on any of our ground. Still have a few thistles, fixed the other problems with the above named programs. But you gotta use em all, don't think the outcome would be the same if you left part of it out.
