Do you think that the uneven wear on the knives and the shearbar is from chopping 3 rows instead of 4 rows? 50% of the material would be coming in on each drum with the 4 row 30". You have 33% of the material on one drum and 67% on the other drum with 3 rows?

I owned a pair of Dion F41 choppers and a NH FP240. I would not go back to the FP240. Dion choppers were animals, but we only chopped alfalfa with them all. Upgraded to a Claas 970 and have not looked back
