Sioux Center, Iowa | Walked my corn fields 2 days ago. Noticed aphids everywhere, many solid patches big as a quarter on the bottom half of most plants. Agronomist made it out this morning. After looking, he said he's never seen anything like it. Ours is corn on corn, so we peeked in a couple of neighbor's fields that had been beans. Same thing. I really didn't want to spend the money, but I'm scheduled to spray it all. Cost $17/acre applied. Anybody else seeing this? | |
