Central Michigan | In central michigan our beets don't look bad, good stand, just a month behind. I haven't been growing them long enough to know what this late of a planting date is going to do for yeilds. We planted probably may 20th. Alot of the prime growing area (michigan's thumb area) looked pretty good the last time I was their. Most of gratiot county looks highly vairable, bad emergence, late planting followed by replanting. All depends on the area. | |
