| In fact my youngest son is wanting to do this exact thing right now. We are in process of figuring out a jig to make first for the frames. Going to use 2-3/8" drill stem for frames and legs. I've got a bunch of lighter cont. fence panels. I think just going to use the clips that came with panels to weld panel to drill stem frame.
These panels are going to be made into a corral that will only be used about 2-3 hours once a year to wean calves off or maybe sort strays out. Going to also set wood posts every 12' behind the panels we think. We need a corral that won't burn up, as last one burned up in range fire.
Wanting a jig that we can roll in and out of shop to flip panel if needed for welding. It will keep panel upright at a angle to weld then. That way doesn't take up a lot of floor space in shop. Also got to thinking about making jig so two panels can be welded at once.
Also wanting jig made so it's set for 12' 16' and these 24' panels or gates while we are building them. | |
