Fairbury, NE (Southeast) | We don't make em into free standing but have fabbed up a few and used heavier square tubes on the end for easy welding.
fashion some legs out of 3/16 1 1/2 strap and weld chains on. Then ususally they get tied to a 20 ft feed wagon for stability.
Poor mans Rawhide.
If you were actually going to make them free standing i would just get some 5 bar and use the oil field pipe for frame. then if something bounces into it you will have less probability of a pretzel. | |
